Statement of Tarot Ethics.

A statement of ethics is provided below (PDF file), which covers the ethical policy of RISING UTOPIA, hereby integrated and incorporated into this Terms of Service. Your tarot reading with RISING UTOPIA in no way replaces professional counseling from a licensed counselor or therapist and cannot be relied upon in lieu of sound legal, medical, or financial advice from licensed or qualified professionals. RISING UTOPIA in no way diagnoses problems, but rather, suggests creative perspectives for understanding your current problems or help you come up with actions you can take to empower yourself in a way that will maximize your personal and professional potentials. RISING UTOPIA strives to help you improve the quality of your life by tapping into your intuition. The role is supportive.

Disclosure of Limitations.

The spirituality-based services RISING UTOPIA should never be used in place of professional counseling. Your reading cannot offer legal, medical, business, or financial advice nor does any portion of your reading from RISING UTOPIA purport to do so. You should not rely on any such spirituality-based service to make any decision that would affect your legal, financial, or medical condition. If your inquiry involves the law, finance, or medicine, then you should seek the advice of a licensed or qualified legal, financial, or medical professional. Also, spirituality-based services by RISING UTOPIA cannot replace qualified mental health care. A tarot reading can only facilitate how you cope spiritually with a given situation.

Confidentiality of Tarot Readings.

RISING UTOPIA exercises reasonable diligence in maintaining the confidentiality of your sessions and video readings and we will not voluntarily, knowingly, intentionally, or willfully disclose your identity or the contents of your sessions and video readings with us to third parties. However, if RISING UTOPIA genuinely believes disclosure is required to: (1) prevent imminent harm or risk of harm to yourself or to another, (2) meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or (3) protect or defend RISING UTOPIA against claims or threats of claims, then RISING UTOPIA reserves the right to do so to the extent reasonably necessary. Please keep in mind that no legally recognized privilege exists between a tarot professional and client the way a privilege might exist between an attorney and client, doctor and patient, husband and wife, or priest and penitent.

 

Fortune Telling Laws.

Pursuant to applicable laws of certain jurisdictions, a person can be guilty of fortune telling, still outlawed in certain places, when for a fee or compensation, that person claims or pretends to tell fortunes, or holds him or herself out as being able, by claimed or pretended use of occult powers, to answer questions or give advice on personal matters or to exorcise, influence, or affect evil spirits or curses, unless otherwise done so explicitly for entertainment purposes only. Any and all services provided by RISING UTOPIA neither claims nor pretends to tell fortunes and neither claims nor pretends to use occult powers in ways that would run against such laws.

 

For Entertainment Purposes Only.

In certain jurisdictions, the spirituality-based services provided by RISING UTOPIA would require a clear disclaimer that such services are for entertainment purposes only. Thus, if such a law applies to any sessions between us, then you are hereby on notice that our session is and can only be for entertainment purposes only. Nonetheless, please note that per the faith and personal spiritual practices of RISING UTOPIA, all sessions will comply strictly to the morals and codes outlined by that faith and spiritual practice. In other words, we take our moral obligation to you seriously. Irrespective of the law, we treat our spiritual connection with you with reverence, faith, and integrity.

• TERMS OF USE

Payment Methods and Terms.

Due to the difficulty with debt collection, all payments for reading requests must be tendered in advance. PayPal payments only accepted. Please note that all payment transfers are done through the third party platform PAYPAL, so please be familiar with the privacy policy and terms of use for these third party platforms. RISING UTOPIA is not liable for any mishandling by these third party platforms. In the event of third party mishandling, your claim will be with PAYPAL directly. For in-person readings, cash only. RISING UTOPIA does not accept checks or money orders. If your credit card is declined or payment is not properly transferred due to deficiencies on your end, then RISING UTOPIA will not be able to perform the reading.

Reading Process.

The client is informed of the step by step process of a reading on the "Readings" page and is agree with the terms of the full process. The YouTube video link is strictly private and will not be shared by RISING UTOPIA to other parties. The video will be sent within 5 working days and will be hosted by YouTube for one year before being deleted.

Refund Policy.

Tarot readings by RISING UTOPIA constitute a professional service and due to the nature of the service and labor involved, all sales are final and all readings are non-refundable. However, if no reading was performed or your tarot professional has cancelled the reading prior to its commencement, then of course, your fee will be refunded to you in full. RISING UTOPIA exercises great reasonable care and diligence in performing each and every tarot reading. If you are dissatisfied with your reading, please contact your tarot professional to see if an agreeable settlement may be worked out.

Satisfaction Guarantee.

If for any reason the reading sounds confusing, unsatisfying or unclear,  Rising Utopia commits to offer a free 3 cards "Flash Reading", recorded in MP3 (audio) and delivered in the following days.

Gift Certificates.

By purchasing a Gift Certificate from RISING UTOPIA, you're agree with all the Terms of Use, Privacy Policies and read the Ethics section. Gift Certificates are not refundable unless RISING UTOPIA is unable to perform the reading. Gift Certificates are valid for 6 months starting the day of purchase, and are sent electronically to the email address of the buyer within 24 hours after the purchase. Please make sure to verify your spam box if you don't see it, or contact RISING UTOPIA to send it to you again. 

The nature of the reading, exact expiration date, and the contact informations are written on the Certificate.The person who is gifted a reading must contact RISING UTOPIA at tarot@rising-utopia.com in order to proceed to the reading process within the 6 months after the date of purchase.

Cancellation Policy.

For in-person sessions by appointment, to cancel you must send the cancelation notice to RISING UTOPIA at least 24 (twenty-four) hours in advance of the appointment. Otherwise you will be bound to pay the session price even if you do not show up for your session. Due to our packed schedule and the number of clientele we handle, cancellations are an enormous burden on our business. Thus, if you book a session, then we rely on your representation that you will fulfill your end of the arrangement and we will of ours.

Refund Policy.

At RISING UTOPIA we value one-to-one personalized care, supported by a spiritual point of view. You are requesting a spirituality-based service tendered from experience, specialized knowledge, and personalized attention. Thus, our services are non-refundable. All service fulfillments are final. Nonetheless, we at RISING UTOPIA want to ensure that you glean the most value from your spiritual experience with us, and so if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out. We would be more than happy to attend to you and see what we can do to resolve any concerns you may have.
